RE: Has anyone tried one of the water to hydrogen products

The comment about physics, I think this is different simply because it is supplimenting the gasoline not replacing it. mechanics here can shed more light on this, I believe an alternator can produce 12 volts at XXX amps and they seem to produce more than the vehicle needs, so why not use some amperage to create HHO gas to supplement the combustion of gasoline? thats what we are trying.

RE: Has anyone tried one of the water to hydrogen products

we have been playing with HHO gas production at work. using stainless steel plates the size of playing cards and 12 volts at 10-20 amps. seem to generate about a liter of gas per minute. When we first tried it we attempted to to light the gas emiting from an end of a 4 foot section of suction hose. It lit alright, it flashed back into the water container and blew the lid off of it. If you apply electricity to a series of plates submerged in water you will produce a hydrogen oxygen combination gas that burns very well. thats the easy part, knowing where to plug it in on your engine and how to regulate production, and safety systems that is the tough part and we are still working on that. we are doing this for our own benefit, not to sell and we have been using internet sources so far. please don't apply snake oil comments to everything you don't understand

RE: Secure a yamaha ef2400i

I covered the bolt heads with caulking. You have to dig it out before using a wrench or socket. I also use the largest diameter cable I could find and the largest commercial pad lock. thieft is a crime of opportunity, don't make it easy, the scum don't like to work hard.

RE: Hey Firedude...

firedude, you mentioned using a ceramic electric heater. Does yours have a tip switch? this is an internal switch that turns the heater off if it gets knocked over. they are not universal to all of that type of heater. Thought is was worth mentioning

We are going to williamsburg for spring break march '08 and are planning to stay at the koa. I was surprised that no one commented about staying there. Is there something I should know about it?

RE: Honda EU3000 or Yamaha EF2400is

I own a yamaha 2400, it just does the job. I have to manage my devices carefully or it trips the breaker on the genny. honda 3000 would make the device management unnessary, but costs more and weighs more. they are both great gennys, I would say if your able get the 3000.

RE: Chrysler won't be building Dodge Ram trucks in January

careful bashing unions, I agree there have been some activities by groups that are questionable. But there are unions doing important work that may indirectly affect you when you least expect it. I belong to the I.A.F.F. International Association of Firefighters. An organization representing professional firefighters in the US and Canada. This union works with goverments local and federal on manpower, safety, and training issues just to name a few. Many local goverments atempt to use fire department manpower as the relief valve for tightening the budget ie closing firehouses and laying off fire fighters. There quite a few firehouses across the country full of fire trucks of all types, you may drive by one in your area. How many personnel?
